I didn't realize the Kelvin area of Glasgow had a predominance of Islay folk. Now I understand why in 1862 my gr. grandfather William McDougall got married at 2 Dock St. Kelvinhaugh, Glasgow. We think at that time 2 Dock St. was an inn or something on the corner. Just a couple of doors away lived another relation but there is no data for 2 Dock St. It is no longer in exitence and now there is a school on the site. Celia.
