Jane's husband, John Currie, was my grandfather's brother. I have a book, once owned by her, (or her mother) "Sailm Dhaibhidh" (Psalms of David). On the inside of the cover is "Jane C. Sinclair, Feb. 27/59". She married John Currie Jan. 25, 1860 in Caledon Twp. about a year later. Of their four children, two died unmarried in the 1890s. The remaining son, my father's cousin John Sinclair Currie had only one grandchild so most of the descendants are from daughter Isabella who married Archie Macgillivray. Archie's sister, Flora, married the dour Duncan MacArthur that I mentioned a little while ago. One brother was the Very Rev. Malcolm Macgillivray, B.A. Queen's 1872, M.A. 1874, D.D. 1903 and Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Canada Jane's brother, Neil, was mentioned in "Petrolia 1874 - 1974". "Neal Sinclair is being an oil driller in Italy, Germany, Roumania and Galicia."
