Thanks for replying Ian, I did read at one time that the records for the Kilmeny area were lost but I am not sure if this was prior to registration in 1855.I keep hoping that something will turn up. Do you know if there was a a Mary McCallum born 1789 connected with them .... maybe a sister of Alexander ... I think her father was maybe Alexander too.....
