Hi listers Are you planning a trip to Islay within the next year? There is an article with pics in the latest edition of the Ileach (Islay's newspaper) about the second stage of construction at Port Askaig. With construction huts all over the dock area, it's not the place I'd choose to either land or leave Islay. This next stage of construction will last 42 weeks. Something to keep in mind when booking your ferry tickets....I'd choose Port Ellen until it's completed.
