Hello Listers! Just wondering if anyone has come across a James (possibly named John) McEACHREN & wife Mary MacDONALD? They had a daughter named Catherine/Catharine born 8 July abt 1857. The 1881, 1891 1901 censuses state Catherine was born in Bowmore and her death notice states she was born at Islay. But I have been unable to find her birth registration on Scotlands People web site.
