    3. Hi, I just deleted the last Digest re McQueen's coming to Ontario in the 1830's. If someone could send it to me I would really like to have the information about the travel to Ontario. I was trying to delete so I was only replying to the 2nd item and then lost everything. I wanted to share the following that is something I found when my father's ancestors came to little York. my e-mail is esp20092009@live.comThanks, Ellen Taken from History of Toronto and County of York, volume 2 https://archive.org/stream/historyyork02unknuoft#page/330/mode/1up p. 330 This is a description of how the journey was in 1831 for William Bowes. They landed in Quebec, the journey from there to Montreal being made by steamboat. From the latter city to Brockville they journeyed by Durham boats, and the remainder of the trip to little York by schooner. > From: sct-islay-request@rootsweb.com> Subject: SCT-ISLAY Digest, Vol 10, Issue 99> To: sct-islay@rootsweb.com> Date: Fri, 27 Nov 2015 11:26:26 -0700> > > > > If replying with quote to a digest message, quote =ONLY= the relevant portion of the specific message to which you are replying, removing the rest of the digest from your reply.
