Travel to IslayHi Ken, I was there last year. Please don't stay at the Lochindaal Hotel. Web site looks great. It is a fire trap with no lights up the stair case. No lights in the hallways. The door to the one room got stuck and I have a picture of the young man on a ladder trying to get in through the window but it was stuck solid. So we were booked for 2 nights and had to look for another place. We stayed at the Anchorage B&B and it was great. There was another one that we were going to stay at, perhaps Lyrabus Croft. It was up on a big hill and had a long laneway. Unfortunately the couple had to go to the mainland that night so we managed to get the Anchorage. Bring cash. Some places don't take credit cards. Check first. I hope I can give you my e-mail at esp20092009@live.com Will give you some hints.Ellen Sager > From: sct-islay-request@rootsweb.com> Subject: SCT-ISLAY Digest, Vol 11, Issue 38> To: sct-islay@rootsweb.com> Date: Mon, 1 Aug 2016 01:00:24 -0600> > > > > If replying with quote to a digest message, quote =ONLY= the relevant portion of the specific message to which you are replying, removing the rest of the digest from your reply.
