Hi Lori, I also have some Mulindry Campbells from that time frame. My g-g-g-grandfather was Colin Campbell, born about 1771 at Mulindry. He and his wife, Ann Johnston of Tighcaramagan, married in 1816. They appear to have followed the traditional naming sequence, as least as far as Ann's family goes. If so, Colin's parents would have been John and Margaret. I've never been able to confirm this. I did find a possible match for Colin's parents, a John Campbell and Janet McIntaggert. Janet was the name of their third daughter, so not an exact match with the naming sequence, but a possibility. Colin does not appear on the 1841 census, and Ann is listed as head of household. I haven't found any death or burial information for him. Ann immigrated to Bruce County, Ontario in the 1860s along with several of her children and grandchildren. She is buried there. Not sure where all this fits, or if it helps, but I thought I toss my shoe in!
