    3. Thank you, Toni ! I do appreciate that. It is possible that this fits, but my hesitation comes from Margaret E. Sinclair's birth year ....1830...20 years after Archibald and Catherine were married. Not at all out of the realm of possibility, but a question. I have nothing but those particular names passed on in a written family tree that was done for my grandmother years ago. My thought at this point is to write to or call the genealogical society in Ohio where Margaret and Samuel Ramsey Irvine were married to see if they can tell me the most likely source for documents that might include information about parents names, etc. I will keep your information close at hand and see if it links in when I find more details. Again, thank you. My information about Margaret Sinclair comes from research done for my late grandmother,Edna Ames Clark (granddaughter of Margaret and Samuel Ramsey Irvine). All I have is a genealogy chart done by a family friend ( now deceased) who was quite active in genealogy research. I have done my best to double check and further research all names, dates, locations, but Margaret and her parentage are a bit of a brick wall.I do have reference to Margaret in writings about the Irvine line. > > > ------------------------------- > > Quoting the entire text of a previous message in a reply is poor netiquette.
