Does anyone have any information on Archibald Maunie/Monie/Moonie or other spellings who married Margaret McCuaig 6 Mar 1848, Kildalton? Thanks Sue Visser

He was actually Archibald Muir. (The English had a difficult time with spelling Gaelic names.) Archibald was a brother of my great grandmother. I had a lot of trouble identifying my ancestors until I discovered Monie is actually Muir.
