Hello everyone I am new to this list so I'm a little nervous and hope I have sent this message correctly. I live in Guelph, Ontario, Canada and I am researching my Great Grandparents Rodger McEachern and Elizabeth "Betsy" Morrison and Great Great Grandparents Peter McEachern and Margaret McInnes. I don't know too much about them but have learned the following so far from the generous help of distant cousins. Peter McEachern b. Abt 1790, d. Bef 1854, Isle of Islay, Argyleshire,Scotland, UK Married Margaret McInnes b. Abt 1795, Isle of Islay, Argyleshire, Scotland, UK, d. 24 Jan 1877, Egremont Tp., ON, bur. Egremont Tp., ON Their son Rodger McEachern [218] b. 25 May 1828, Bowmore, Islay, Argyll, Scotland, d. 26 Jul 1910, Minto Twp, Wellington Cty, Cda married Elizabeth "Betsy" Morrison [217] b. 2 Jan 1826, Kildalton, Islay, Argyll, Scotland, d. 6 Dec 1909, Minto Twp, Wellington Cty, Cda Rodger McEachern and Betsy Morrison had a daughter Mary Jane McEachern [221] b. 1856, Minto Twp, Wellington Cty, Cda, d. 7 Jun 1912, Minto Twp, Wellington Cty, Cda and she married Henry Williamson [275] b. 12 Mar 1853, Arthur Twp, Wellington County, d. 26 Aug 1926, Minto Twp, Wellington Cty, Cda My father George Donald Williamson was the youngest son of Henry Williamson and Mary McEachern. (There was also a McGillvray connection as I had a Cousin named Percy McEachern living in the area of Rockwood, Ontario who was a neighbour to my sister. It wasn't until my fathers funeral in 1966 that we all found out we were related and in fact cousins but I never found out how or who that connection came from). These are my connections and I think I may have cousins are on this list too. I am trying to find out more information if possible as to what these ancestors did for a living and where exactly they lived on the Isle and more on Margaret McInnes if possible. Thanks everyone for your time. Carolynne (Williamson) Vynychenko
