Hello Carolynne When I was looking for my great grandfather, John McEachern, I found in the 1851 census a Peter McEachern married to Margaret; their ages were given as 57 and the children listed were John, Mary, Margaret, Catherine, Ann, Peter and Flora. No Rodger shown but he would have been say 23 years old and could have already gone to Canada. Peter McEachern's occupation is given as farmer of 40 acres. Kind regards Janet > > Hello everyone > I am new to this list so I'm a little nervous and hope I have sent this > message correctly.
