Hi folks, I have a photocopy of the 1850 New Orleans census return showing the family of Duncan Sinclair, but in the same dwelling is a D. McGibbon, Physician, age 31, and Jane McGibbon, age 20. Since Duncan was from Islay, I was wondering if Dr. McGibbon might have been as well, and if so, was there a relationship? Any of our McGibbon researchers have a comment?
