    1. Re: [SCT-ISLAY] Possible epidemic in 1876?
    2. Hello Johan The Dunlop Mum & Dad, William & Mary, were from Ayrshire, but not Fenwick (I'm thinking though, that the Fenwick Dunlops may have been cousins). Wm & Mary were married in Bowmore in 1868 and all five of their children were born in Killarrow parish. The family was at a farm called Knockdon in 1871, (as were, I believe the Fenwick Dunlops.) Only Mary, the Mum and her child Mary, did not die in 1876. Regards, Laura In a message dated 9/3/2010 11:35:04 A.M. US Mountain Standard Time, [email protected] writes: Laura, Sorry I have no information about an epidemic in 1876, but were your Dunlops previously from Fenwick in Ayrshire. Regards Johan Hello I have a family of seven Dunlops and five of them all died within a six week span Jul/Aug 1876. Was there some type of epidemic going on at this time that could account for this?
