If it hadn't been for a Lister posting their findings on the List, I would never have found where my 2xgr.grandfather had gone to, after he left Islay. I think it is quite important to maintain the List unless it is something very personal. Most everythng I do is posted to the list. One never knows when a lurker will find my info golden.
