Can anyone on the Islay List help me to find the descendants of Archibald Johnston b1777 and Catherine Keith married 1805 at Bowmore.They had eleven children - Alexander b1805 married Margaret Cowan from whom I am descended, Peter b1807, Isobel b1809 who married John Mackay, Marion b1811 who married Alexander Woodrow , Margaret b1815, Donald b1817, Elizabeth b1819 who married [ I think ] Alexander Mc Niven and went to Canada, Ronald b 1821, George b1823, Catherine b1824 and finally Archibald b1828. I hope someone out there can help me as all the men seem to have completely vanished. Valerie Johnston
