Hello Keldon, When you say that the path of emigration seems to be from Islay to Wellington, Ontario - I would suggest that you should look at Wellington County, Ontario, which is where many Islay people emigrated to. You can google for the Ontario Genealogy Society, and then click on the Wellington County Branch. I think that there is also a link to the Women's Institute "Tweedsmuir Histories".
