Natalie, I don't know how the families on Islay kept track of who their relatives were! It seems they all used the same fore names in every family. My 3x grandfather was Colin Sinclair, his daughter Euphemia b. 1825, married John McTaggart. Of course they had children named John & Euphemia. The task of tracing my McTaggarts & Sinclairs has been a real challenge. I wish you luck, Joe Hay in VA, USA **************************************************************** > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Date: Mon, 7 Jun 2010 13:32:20 +0200 > Subject: Re: [SCT-ISLAY] John MacTaggart son of Donald MacTaggart > > Yet another, McTaggart. > > I am a newcomer to this List. > > Natalie da Silva > Johannesburg, South Africa > > ------------------------------- > > Quoting the entire text of a previous message in a reply is poor netiquette.
