Hello Rob, I know that in past years the Islay Family History Society have had displays of old photographs (in conjunction with one of the festivals, but I can't remember which one). Apparently, it's been a great hit with some of the older citizens/ visitors. Perhaps you can scan some of the photos and send them to http://argyllcommunities.org/islayfamilyhistory/ Toni Sinclair ---------------------------------------- > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Date: Fri, 18 Jun 2010 07:04:19 +1000 > Subject: [SCT-ISLAY] Campbell Family. > > I am hoping to make contact with descendants of Duncan Campbell (born 1831) and his wife Marion McKay (born 1835) who were married in 1856 in Tradeston Glasgow. Duncan died in Jamieson street Bowmore in April 1910. Their son Neil was my grandfather and emigrated to Australia in 1911 with his second wife Mary Prentice and his children. > We have family photo albums printed in Scotland that accompanied Neil and Mary but unfortunately cannot identify any one. > I would greatly appreciate any information, > Rob Campbell > 284 Kilfeera Road, > Benalla, Vic Australia 3672 > [email protected] > ------------------------------- > > Quoting the entire text of a previous message in a reply is poor netiquette.
