    3. HI Janet -- I'm in Portland, Oregon, and received my copy very promptly after it was released. It's a marvelous product; well done. Too bad for me that it pre-dates my Islay Campbells by about 150 years, so I can't make connections (yet!). 1. [SCT-ISLAY] Peter McKellar m. Mary Sinclair
    2. Alastair McKellar
    3. Dear Toni I don't know if it is safe to assume that this is the same Mary Sinclair as Mary is a common name in Scotland. I have referred it to two of the present day McKellars to see if they recognise any of the names you give. To date I have not traced a relationship to these McKellars although they are good friends. Thanks for referring me to Ted Larsen's site. Regards Alastair McKellar _________________________________________________________________ Singles online now! 2. Toni Sinclair
    3. Hello again, Alastair   I could not find a Mary Sinclair born in Kildalton parish in 1847.  However, if you are flexible about her birth year, there was a Mary Sinclair baptized 22/03/1845, daughter of Duncan Sinclair and Margaret McGibbon.  I have a note to say that this Mary had 2 siblings, John and Janet, who went to New Zealand, which is quite a co-incidence, since your McKellars seem to have ended up there too.  What do you think? (If this is your Sinclair family,I can give you more details.) As far as the McKellar side of your family is concerned, I would suggest that you check out the births, deaths, and marriage records on Ted Larson's website http://freepages.family.rootsweb.com/~tlarson/bdm/. 1. [SCT-ISLAY] Campbell McPhee
    2. > I am interrested in William McPhee (Mc fee McDuffie). His wife was sister in law to Donald Sinclair Schoolmaster on Islay. Donald’s wives were Margaret Campbell (1800-1836) and Mary Campbell (1807-1874) Mary’s parents were John Campbell and Mary McDougal. I believe thta Mary had brothers Neil John and Donald but I know nothing about Margaret. This sister in Law was in Glasgow about 1836 so it is probably Margaret,s relation. Susan > >
