Friends, I have to say good-bye. I'll be unsubscribing tomorrow. I need to give my living family my attention at this point, so my interest in connections to my ancestors has to give way. My brother-in-law has meningitis for the fifth time and they've discovered a dime-sized hole between his sinuses and brain which requires some pretty serious brain surgery. My sister is completely paralyzed with fear about his surgery. My 84-year-old mother-in-law needs two knee replacements and has moved here to be closer to us. And a dear friend has just been diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer. What with the adoption of our two toddlers a year ago and both of us teaching music in the public schools, my plate is indeed full. If you have need, please feel free to contact me any time off list.
