Hi Folks; I am in the process of trying to gather information about the lives my ancestors led in the Shires of Nairn and Inverness in the 1700s. I know they where not land owners and suspect that they lived the lives of most common agrarian folks of the time. Could anyone recommend a book or other source of information that might describe their activities and lifestyle including perhaps their homes, daily routines, etc. Any help in this area would be appreciated.
