Hi All, Just reposting my interests in my McAulay and McFarlane families. I am researching my gg grandmothers family. Her details are as follows: MARY MCAULAY born 1803 Isle of Skye. Parents JOHN MCAULAY and ANN MCLEAN . Mary married MALCOLM MCFARLANE 1823 Isle of Skye. Mary died 1884 Lawrence, NSW In 1852 Mary and her six children left Skye on the "Ontario" and came to Australia. Malcolm had died prior to them leaving but I have been unable to locate his death details. Mary's brother Neil and his family were also on the "Ontario" with her. Marys other siblings namely Alexander, Donald, John and Catherine all came out to Australia in 1837. Other surnames connected to this family are: MCKAY, MCLEOD, MCRAE, MCDONALD.
