Some few days ago, someone asked about an illness -- some epi-something or the other. But the sound kept sticking in my brain. I kept thinking "epizuddie." Have changed e-mail providers and all kinds of things are different now. But I do remember the "epi" something. What was it? My Scot grandmother and my extremely Scot grandfather referred to anything as the "epizuddie" (spelling???). That covered cough, cold, diarrhea -- just about all the major ailments of mankind. Just wondered if that might strike a chord with anyone.
