I would like to thank fellow listers for telling me about the book "Back to Lochaber" by Stuart MacDonald. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw on pages 20 and 21 mention of my 2g grandfather Angus (Drochaid) MacDonald and his brother Donald (Drochaid) the MacDonald grandfather of Mother Mary MacKillop. I have desperately tried through the internet and local booksellers in Scotland to get a book by the same author called "MacArthurs of Brae Lochaber". Are there any other similar books around? Could anyone help with an Australian - internet or otherwise - source? I would be most grateful. Bill.
