Data transcribed for some generations indicates a birth place or christening locaiton "Kilwinnock" for several children born to Alexander and Jean Leslie while they were resident in Beauley, ??at or in ?? a corf house.... they were salmon fishers?? Possibly living abord their own boat?? An associated name KILMORACH seems to have survived the transcriptions, but another child's birth was associated with CONAN PARISH .... Strathpeffer which parish I have yet to locate. Seemingly the famiy was en route to Isle of Lewis, in this period. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
