Hi Sue + John, I am going to introduce you to a helpful person, Pam Jennings in Geelong she may be able to help you with Jane. Also I have posted this to the Inverness List to see if you have some relations out there. Is "Caboolture" a property and where do you live? If you are looking for the Allison you can find it at: http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/bryanfkeddy/HIES1.html For the "Allison" it is very detailed as I got the HIES information from Bill Clarke, (see web page). Please see below and I will answer your questions. Eastern Cemetery at Geelong. What religion (Presbyterian) were, that is a key to their marriages, births and Death and which road you take. Roman Catholic and Presbyterian took their own path after 1745.... In Geelong there is the Geelong Historical Society and they are very helpful. > >Have you found any further information on the "Allison" ? There were a lot of McDonald's who came to Victoria....... Being presbyterian it cuts your search in half.... If you are coming backwards from your generation you can search the records.
