    1. [SCT-INV-L] Glen Nevis - Kilmonivaig or Kilmallie
    2. The confusion surrounding which parish Glen Nevis is in may have some light shed on it by the following descriptions (from an eighteenth century description); "The glenns and straths of Mamor, Lochliven, Glenneves, Gargawatch, Glenspean, Glenroy, Dawghnassie, Lochyeld, Glenley, Loughairgaik, Achadrome, and Glengarrie. Lochyeld, Glenley, Loughairgaik, Achadrome, and Glengarrie pertained to the parish church of Kilmallie; Loughlevin, Mamore, and the seven merklands and half - merkland of Glenneves pertaining to Eiland Moune (St. Munn's Isle). Thrie merklands ane half-merkland of Glenneves, Gargairach, Glenspean, Glenroy, Dawghnassie with the six merklands of Glenley pertained to the parish of Kilmaneveg." It was always my understanding that as a general rule Kilmallie was on the Northwest side of the Geat Glen, and Kilmonivaig on the Southeast side. This would place Glen Nevis within Kilmonivaig.
