    3. Hi Bill, My gr4grandparents were John [Iain Mor] McDonald (c.1776) and Catherine [Kate] McKillop (c.1776) of Bohuntin, Kilmonivaig. Bohuntin is a hamlet in Glen Roy a bit south of Cranachan where Blessed Mary McKillop visited her McDonald relatives during her trip to Scotland. I was told by the local historian that it's almost certain that I'm related to Mary though documenting it is difficult due to the time frame. It is possible that my gr4 grandmother Kate was a sister to Mary's grandfather John McKillop (c.1782) which would make her my second cousin four times removed. >From your posting, one of your parents was a second cousin to Mary. Would this have been on the McDonald or McKillop side? I have assembled a database of all the descendants that I've been able to trace thus far and would be most happy to exchange information with you. Am also interested in any replies you received to your posting. In 1997 I was fortunate to visit the museum of Mother Mary in North Sidney and will be making a return trip this October. Looking forward to hearing from you.
