Just to throw in my two cents worth - I joined this list for genealogical information - but I have found it to be a wonderful source of cultural information, great stories, and I have made some great friends through it. I appreciate all the postings, commentaries etc., and the time and effort people make to contribute. I have a better understanding now of what it means to be a highlander - and that is very important to me. And... on another recent topic, I refuse to refer to the true and rightful King as "pretender", regardless of what definition you stick to the word! I am intensely proud of my Highland ancestry and I cherish the ability to communicate with my people, wherever fate has landed them.
