Where the hospital was. in Inverness. >dave > Hi Laraine Just to start you of Connage is quite a famous place in Highland Medieval history but it is not in >Abernethy & Kincardine<. It is on the Eastern edge of Inverness Airport near Ardersier. I am sure there is more than one place of this name in Scotland but I can not find one in the area you are looking for. It may have been a croft or small holding. Then again without knowing what context it is mentioned in the OPR I can not do more than speculate. With regard to "Loindichintnan" even for a Scottish place name it sounds a bit strange. I would hazard a guess that it is way of the mark. If I was to suggest a place that sounded close it would have to be "Lochan nan Cnapan" which is at the south end of the Parish of Duthil and Rothiemurchus. I am still working on Auchernich ( could it be Auchternich). Hope this helps and will not confuse. All the best from Inverness George -- George D.
