Thank you to everyone who responded to my question about Conon Bridge. I know i did'nt really ask a specific question. What I really want to know is: Are there any CONONS out there? My ancestor Alexander Conon was supposed to have been born in Conon(which I assume now must be Conon Bridge), ca. 1760. He married Jean(Jane)Airth. They had at least one son, John Connon who was christened 7-28-1781 in Methlick. I have a book written by a more recent ancestor from which I got this information. In it he talks of Conon Castle. Does that still exist? Where would I look for the birth record of Alexander Conon? Any help would be appreciated. Margaret
