My brother is in Fort Augustus trying to track down our McDonald/ MacDonell relatives. 13 years ago I remember going to Fort Augustus , before the town coming from Loch Ness I remember seeing a large Catholic building they were selling bricks for its restoration. We went down a long driveway at the back and found a number of McDonald graves.At that point I was not in to genealogy and more concentrated on keeping my then 2 and 4 year old from running over the stones. My brother is there right now but thought the building I was referring to was the Abbey but he could not find my long driveway or the ordinary graveyard just one with white crosses for the benedictine monks Can you help? We are looking for our gggrandparents Ewen and Anne/Annie McDonald.They had lived in Markethill, Fort Augustus Julia New Zealand
