My great great grandfather was William MacGregor (born circa 1785-1788), supposedly from Gairloch, who married Helen Gillanders in Galson, Stornoway in 1820. William's parents (our g-g-g-grandparents) were Rodk. (presumably short for Roderick) McGregor and a McKenzie (first name unconfirmed, but we believe her name was Christian). Does that ring a bell to you?
