I recently attended the opening of a new school in Mabou, Inverness County, Nova Scotia. The school opening of "Dalbrae Academy" was accompanied by Bagpipes, Fiddles, Dancing and Gaelic singing. Attached to the program was a list of Dalbrae Academy Staff. I thought that readers of this list may find it interesting in that much of this part of Inverness County was settled by former residents of Lochaber - and that several hundred years (more or less) later - the staff list could be for a school in Spean Bridge, Fort William, Fort Augustus, or any number of Highland communities.
