    2. The book "Skye Pioneers and The Island" by Malcolm A. MacQueen, which was written in 1929, lists a few MacKensie's which may be descendents of Murdock MacKenzie on Prince Edward Island. My grandmother saved her copy of this book, but I recently purchased a reprint from Scotpress, a division of Unicorn Limited, Inc. P.O. Box 397, Bruceton Mills, West Virginia 26525. I would recommend this book to anyone whose ancestors traveled to PEI in the 1800's since it gives some interesting history of the people and the area. I would love to hear from any descendents of John Martin from Stenscholl, Skye who traveled with his wife Catherine MacDonald of Snizort, Skye and three of their seven children to PEI in 1829. His son Samuel Martin married Sarah, daughter of James Campbell who had earlier emigrated to PEI in 1803. Julie Martin Vermont, USA
