In the late 18c. the Chisholm brothers, John and Aeneas, continued the Strathglass Mission. In 1792 John was made Bishop of the Highland region and in 1814 his brother succeeded him. During his time in the Strathglass Mission, Aeneas Chisholm built a grander church at Fasnakyle to replace the little chapel at Clachan Comar (opened in 1801), which was soon followed by larger Marydale in 1868. Source material "The Catholic Highlands of Scotland", Dom Odo Blundell O.S.B. Any further details on John and Aeneas as well as their family would be appreciated. Are they cousins of Bishop William Fraser ? Thanks , Hugh
