At Register House I got some details of a marriage in Inverness in 1896 of John Cameron, chemist and Jane Osborne Sutherland.but could not make out some of the addresses . The wedding was at Tichrig????? Hotel Nesswalk and the usual residence of the Groom, was something like Rillevack House, Lanfield Rd Kay >> I did not see anyone answer so here is a wee bit information that may help. Ness Walk is the "street, or path actually that follows the River Ness down towards the Islands. The Hotel would be on that or rather to the side of that walk way. I know ladies walk is on the same side of the water as the Castle, but Ican not for the life of me remember whether Ness Walk is a continuation, or on the other side of the river, but I think it is. Then again these could just be names we used for the area, as in Ladies walk. It may indeed be Ness walk. Anyway it follows the bank of the river west from the High St. Bridge. Hope this helps Dave
