I have been trying to find out for a very long time where my gr grandfather, Walter Grieve Mundell (b. 1838 d. 1902) is buried. I was delighted to find his obituary on the Scotsman Digital Archive site. It states "Funeral to Urray Churchyard on Friday leaving Inverlael 8:30 A.M." I would very much appreciate if anyone has access to Monument Inscriptions for the Urray Churchyard if they could check to see if he is in fact there and if there are any other 'Mundells' buried there. I am guessing that Walter's father also Walter Grieve Mundell (b. 1784 d. 1864) may be there as well as two sons of my gr grandfather's who died in infancy - Archibald Mclean Mundell (d. 1884) and Charles Howatson Mundell (d. 1887/8).
