John Fraser & James Fraser, wits. Mary Clark, 1 Aug 1749 Janet Clark, 30 Oct 1751 William Clark, 25 Mar 1755 Donald Clerk, 20 Dec 1760 Inverness Chapel Yard #312 {Wall plaque} In memory of Donald Clark, farmer in Mourtoun & John Clark, his eldest son & William & Donald his sons also. Inverness Chapel Yard #322 {Slab} Placed by The Revd John Clark A.M. of the Presbyterian Chapel, Brentford Butts, County of Middlesex, 1812, in remembrance of his grandfather Donald Clark, farmer at Muirtown, who died in 1790, aged 84 years; Jean Fraser, his pious spouse, was buried with her parents in Kirktown. This modest stone what few vain marbles can; may truly say here lies an honest man. The above John Clark (1739-1810) married Katherine Duncan (1740-1830) on 23 Jan 1779, and had the following children baptized at Inverness: Donald Clark, 19 Aug 1779 John Clark, 15 Nov 1781 – John Clark farmer on the Green and his spouse Katherine Duncan had a child bapt by Mr Alexr Fraser called John. Donald Munro, Cathechist and John Clark, Smith, wits. Katherine Clark, 14 Jun 1785 Inverness Chapel Yard #329 {Slab} To the memory of John Clark, farmer at Muirtown, an elder of the parish, a very pious & dutiful parent, who died in 1810, aged 71; & Katherine Duncan, his affectionate spouse, who died in 1830, aged 90. This stone is placed on their grave by their son & heir, John Clark, A.M. Minister of the Gospel, born 13th November 1781.
