    3. Sylvia, Have a look at the Scotlandspeople website. In the 1861 census I found two entries which just might be worth looking at. In Shieldaig, Ross& Cromarty there is a Donald Kennedy aged 38 and Ann Kennedy age 6 (doesn't quite match your 1857 birth) with the same GROS reference so probably/possibly the same address. Also in Tyree, Argyll there is a Donald age 37 and Mary Ann age 6. I know they don't quite match all the criteria but might be worth a look. Did you get her mother's name from the marriage cert? Good luck Alastair Chisholm ----- Original Message ----- From: "sylvia glassford" <tlse.glass@sympatico.ca> To: <SCT-INVERNESS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, December 30, 2005 1:12 AM Subject: Re: [SCT-INV] Kennedy >I found Annie in the 1881 census under the name Kinnlay (an error) living >on > Radnor St. in Manchester in the household of Elizabeth Hall. 3. Yes, I have looked at Scotlandspeople and realized that without Annie's mother's name beforehand and without an exact birthdate it would going to be very difficult to determine whether I had the correct Annie. No, Annie's mother's name does not appear on Annie's marriage registration.
