Dear List, Is there anyone who is researching or has any information about a James HENDRY b.1778 who was married to a Catherine FRASER b. 1785. In 1803 they were living in FOINESS? Does any one know where this is? James HENDRY was employed as a mason. From the IGI I have the following children possibly born to the above couple in Kiltarlity: George 1803 Hannah 1806 Donald 1810 James 1814 Catherine 1816 John 1819 Ann 1821 I am particularly interested in Catherine FRASER who it appears died in 1821 a few months after the birth of her last child Regards, Christine
This sounds to me like Phones. There are at least two, one in Moray near Knockandhu and one in Badenoch south of Newtonmore.
