    3. Dear Sylvia, Have you tried to find Annie in the 1881 census (perhaps in Manchester?), Jane -----Original Message----- From: sylvia glassford [mailto:tlse.glass@sympatico.ca] Sent: 29 December 2005 19:47 To: SCT-INVERNESS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [SCT-INV] Kennedy Annie Kennedy died in Alipur, Calcutta, presidency of Bengal on 18th Feb. 1897 (source: reg. #SA067118). She was Scottish; 40; wife of Sgt. E.B. Gordon. Died of cholera. Informant was A.O.H. Evans Sergeant Army Clothing Dept. Bengal where E.B. Gordon worked. The death was registered 19, Feb, 1897 by the garrison chaplain at the Military Cemetery Bhawanipur Calcutta. I sent a request to a link for the Bhawanipur cemetery but this cemetery link has records only for veterans of the 2 world wars. It is my hope to locate the record of the death of the boys since they died in the same epidemic. My hope is to locate Annie's family. Her father was Donald Kennedy, farmer (s: her marriage to EB Gordon). Her birthdate appears to be circa 1857 since she was 24 when married on 4th Oct. 1881 in Manchester and she was listed as 40 when she died in Sylvia ----- Original Message ----- From: "judy olsen" <copywriter@tesco.net> To: "sylvia glassford" <tlse.glass@sympatico.ca> Cc: <SCT-INVERNESS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, December 29, 2005 3:44 AM Subject: Re: [SCT-INV] Kennedy > Can you give us the actual death date for Annie?
