    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TeC.2ACE/1172.1 Message Board Post: Hi Donna, Ardachie was a settlement of just a few houses, which lay approx.25 miles north-east of Fort William. You will find it on a map just one mile to the south of Fort Augustus,at the bottom tip of Loch Ness. I believe it lies within the Invernesshire Parish of Boleskine and Abertarff, and the residents were most likely tenants of the Fraser of Lovat family. Regarding the Passenger Lists for the three ships,I have seen them printed in a number of publications, and elsewhere on the Internet. If you go to a search engine and type in the names of the ships and Fort William, you should get a reference to a relevant website. Good luck with your search. Chris.
