My fifth great grandfather was Samuel Paul McPherson from Dunboe Ireland. I think he is the same one you wrote about. I have that Samuel's father was Paul MacPherson born abt 1690 in Scotland. Samuel married Patty Witherspoon and lived in New Hampshire. He died 3/11/1811 in Francistown, NH. Any info would help!
