I have been able to finally make a firm connection to the following family members located in Scotland. I'm looking for anyone that could provide some help. I'm looking for anything that may help. George Gunn, son of William (2) Gunn, grandson of Hugh Gunn, great grandson of William (1) Gunn. I believe that Hugh Gunn was in the 78 Regiment (of Foot?) stationed at Ardersier Parish in Inverness. I have heard some mention of Fort George. He was married to Margaret Cuthbert in 1809 in Ardersier Parish. William (2) was christened on 10 May 1814 in Ardersier Parish. He married Margaret McIntosh on 17 Mar 1838. She died 1870. Their children were Mary - 13 Mar 1838, Isabella - 25 Jan 1840 - 1882 Inverness; Hugh 17 Jan 1842, James 22 Feb 1844, George 11 Feb 1846, William 13 Aug 1838. These are not birth dates but christening dates. Reportedly Hugh and William (1) were born in Rogart Parish, Sutherland. Thank you, Jeff
