Someone looked up Charles MacLean's family in Coillelmore in the 1851 census and they weren't there. Does anyone have access to the 1841 census. To repeat: his wife was Mary. Anna would not yet have been born but there might have been Lachlin and Jane (children of his first wife, a MacDonald) and, from Mary, his second wife, another Jane and Belle (Isobel?). He probably would have been listed as a fisherman although I understand he wasn't very good at it. Thanks for any help in finding this family. I keep hoping that I'm getting close to Jane #1, my gr-grandmother. Marion Markham
