I am looking for a clue to my great great grandfather's parents. His name is Donald Fraser b. 1805 in Inverness, Scotland. LDS files show two such Donald Fraser b. 1805 in Inverness. One with parents being James Fraser b. circa 1769 in Inverness, Scotland who married Ann Stephen b. circa 1773 of Inverness, Scotland. They married on December 10, 1794. They had 5 children all born in Inverness. John Fraser b. January 08, 1796 Ann Fraser b. October 23 1797 Isabel Fraser b. December 12 1801 Donald Fraser b. February 08 1805 Ann Fraser b. May 10, 1807 My Donald Fraser was born in 1805 came to America at age ?. In 1842 he married Jane McIntosh in the Scottish Settlement near Yellow Creek and Wellsville, Columbiana County, Ohio, USA. Jane McIntosh is the daughter of William McIntosh b. circa 1773 in Scotland (son of Alexander McIntosh who came with his family to the Scottish Settlement about 1800 and help settle Ohio land in Columbiana County, Ohio). Jane McIntosh's mother was Isabelle Fraser b. circa 1789 in Inverness, Scotland (not related to my Donald Fraser) daughter of Duncan and Nancy Fraser who immigrated to America before 1809 and granddaughter of Hugh Fraser and Jannet Willison of Inverness. Clue: The only child of Donald Fraser and Jane McIntosh's name is James A. (may stand for Alexander) Fraser b. 1843 near Wellsville, Ohio. That would make him named for James Fraser and Alexander McIntosh his grandfathers. Donald died of disease in 1844 a year after his only child was born and is buried in the Yellow Creek Presbyterian Cemetery in Madison Township, Columbiana County, Ohio. One other choice remains of possible parents to Donald Fraser b. 1805 in Inverness are parents Hugh Fraser and Ann Fraser. Only one family clue exists for Donald Fraser b. 1805 is that he had only one brother who had one son. The second choice of parents are Hugh Fraser and Ann Fraser are listed with three boys and 2 girls. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. Seeking living relatives if possible.
