Margaret Gillis, daughter of Donald (Ban) left Arisaig in 1816 with most of family fairly well grown up. They eventually settled in Antigonish County, Nova Scotia. Family included sons John, Donald, Alexander and Hugh, and daughters Mary, Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth, and Ann. John married Ann Gillis in Scotland and came to Nova Scotia some years. Any known relatives in Scotland?
