Hello Listers This is my first posting here so greetings to you all. Is anyone researching Macmillans from Barra? I am descended from Roderick Macmillan, born Barra c 1830, and married to Jane Fraser from Edinkillie. They lived in Rafford and had three sons, Roderick, Donald and William Macmillan all born in Burgie, Rafford c 1860. All four men worked for the GNoS railway and William moved to Perth again working for the railway. I've found living descendents of William still living in Perth and we're looking for more Barra relatives - living or dead. But we're keen to hear from all Barra Macmillans as all info is useful.
